Trading on CCX

Entities or individuals who trade on CCX for purposes other than complying with the emissions reduction requirements, such as market makers, CTA's, proprietary trading groups, hedge funds and local traders may join the Exchange as Liquidity Providers.  Because CCX has elected to operate as an Exempt Commercial Market, eligible traders must qualify under Eligible Commercial Entity (ECE) requirements as defined by Section 1a(11) of the Commodity Exchange Act.  Individuals that are CFTC registered floor brokers and traders may qualify under ECE requirements.
